Staff Favorites November 2019

For the month of November, these are some of our favorite toys in the store! From trains to games, find out what we’re having fun with right now!

Roll for Adventure

A great cooperative dice game! There is a lot of luck involved, but thats what makes it fun! I like how each player has their own special character which benefits different aspects to the game to pull off the win!

-Eric

Brio Trains

Brio trains were toys that my son loved growing up! Trains build up your imagination! You never know what you’re going to build, and its different every time!

-Lori

Outfoxed

Think classic game of ‘Clue’ but cooperative, and fun for kids ages five and up! A fox stole the pie, and as a team we must use our deduction skills and the decoder to figure out which one did it! Move around the board and work together to narrow it down. Fun for the entire family!

-Andre

Hanayama Puzzles

These interesting metal puzzles are well made and have varying levels of difficulty, so as you get better at them, you can try harder ones!

-Leah

Trekking the National Parks

Take a road trip around America’s National parks from the comfort of your living room. Beautiful images and informative tidbits about each destination brings the outside inside in this fun, family strategy game.

-Melanie

Amethyst

Known for its healing qualities, amethyst is a beautiful addition to any home or mineral collection. Ancient Egyptians used to engrave them, and medieval soldiers wore them in battle for protection. If you whisper your hopes and dreams to the amethyst they might come true!

-Julia

Balderdash

I love this game! Creativity and knowledge come together in this hilarious game where you get to invent your own definitions and the crazier the better! Can you fool your family and friends? Can you guess who is bluffing?

-Jeanette

Shape Sorter

I love my shape sorter! Match the shape and color to find the right spot! The best part is figuring out which way to turn the shape. Just shake the wooden shapes out of the side when you want to start over!

-Ella

When I Dream

This is a beautiful game and perfect for those with big imaginations! Slip on the sleep mask to take the role of the Dreamer. Become a Good Spirit and help the Dreamer by giving them clues about the dream before the Naughty Spirits mess it up! Gorgeous artwork!

-Devon

Starry Sky LED Light

Light up the room with this little projector! Near a wall, it projects stars, but when moved further away, it bathes the space in gentle colors.

-Amara

It’s Alive! Slime Lab

Mix your own slime then watch what happens when you turn on the motorized slime activator. The slime comes alive! A super fun gift for friends!

-Pierce

Thumpers

A magnificently melodic instrument, Thumpers bring a mellifluous melody of meaningful musical meter to your home. Easy to learn and hard to master, they are great for all ages!

-Tanner

Space Escape: Mole Rats in Space!

A cooperative game of strategy and luck, Space Escape challenges players to race against the odds to save the mole rats from the dastardly snakes! Help them collect their supplies and gather in the escape pod before the snakes get there first!
