We’ve compiled a list of our favorite games that are Zoom-friendly! Most just require one person to own the game and have a camera pointed at the play area. Your weekly game night is back on!
CODENAMES
Try to uncover your team’s agents before the other team discovers theirs! The player with the game centers their camera on the 25 cards laid out, and then takes a picture of the key card and sends it to the two spymasters. From there, the game proceeds as normal!

FORBIDDEN ISLAND
Race against the rising tides to collect the four artifacts, return to your helicopter, and escape the island before it floods! The game plays almost exactly like normal, except the game owner is in charge of maintaining cards in the other players’ “hands” as well as moving the pieces around the board.

WITS & WAGERS
In this simple trivia game, a question is asked and everyone writes down an answer. As one, the players reveal their answers, then guess which answer was actually closest. To make this game Zoom-friendly, the game owner collects the answers and arranges them in increasing order for easier tracking.

DUNGEONS & DRAGONS ESSENTIALS KIT
The world’s largest tabletop roleplaying game is just as much fun over Zoom as it is in person! Personally, I’ve played many sessions of D&D over the computer. The digital format allows for people to come together and play, regardless of the distance between them. I highly recommend it!

BALDERDASH
This classic bluffing game is taken to new heights when played over a digital medium. Either one player can act as an impartial game master, or players can swap off by finding unusual words on their own. Can you fool your friends into thinking your phony definition is the real one?
