Demonstrating Charles' Law and energy transfer, the temperature of your hand is enough to send boiling liquid up and through the twist and turns of this glass sculpture.
Why? Because the heat in your hand increases the temperature of the liquid which increases the air pressure in the sculpture. The increased air pressure then pushes the liquid up the tube, once all the liquid reaches the top of the glass, air bubbles are forced up the sculpture causing the liquid in the top bulb appear to "boil".
