Geodes start their lives as a hollow bubble inside a layer of rock. Over a very long time, minerals seep through the bubble and crystals are left behind, clinging to the sides of the cavity. These geodes are known as Amethyst Geodes and are from Morocco. The crystals inside are purple quartz crystals that will sparkle like a real treasure!
