Description
Peacock ore gets its name from its striking iridescence. It can be formed in multiple ways. It can occur naturally when the mineral bornite tarnishes to create various iridescent shades, from blue to purple. More commonly, however, peacock ore is chalcopyrite treated with acid, which produces a strongly-colored iridescent tarnish.
*Please note these are sold individually. Since they are a natural product and unique they may vary in size, color, and shape.
