Puppet Making Workshop

This is a three part fantastic workshop at A2Z for ages 12 to adult. During the course of three classes, attendees will learn the amazing secrets of puppetry. Each person will make their own puppet using their very own Puppet Kit! (*basic sewing skills recommended but not necessary,**masks will be required) They will be guided through the course by puppeteer Scotty Swan (of Urban Wizards Academy). Attendees will have a blast, make new friends, and learn about one of the most creative visual and performing arts in the world... PUPPETRY! By the end of the course students will: • Have a basic understanding of how to make a puppet • Have the ability to bring a puppet to life • Understand how to perform a character • Learn how to create a puppet show • Put on a puppet show for family and friends Monday, Sept. 27th 3:30pm-6:30pm Thursday, Sept. 30th 4pm-6pm Sunday, Oct. 3rd 3pm-5pm
