Introducing the Sunwing – yoyofriends’ take on the mid-ring bimetal yoyo! Crafted with a unique mid-ring design, the Sunwing brings a whole new feel to the yoyofriends lineup. Drawing from the classic inner-ring Vulture and outer-ring Peregrine, Sunwing’s stainless steel ring sits just inside the rim, creating a balanced mix of speed and stability. The first prototypes were built with a modified V shape for enhanced flow. But to maximize speed, the design team shifted the ring placement, pushing it closer to the outer edge for powerful rim weight distribution. This tweak gave the Sunwing the power to handle high-speed combos with ease, making it an instant favorite among players like Adam Criser. Named after the legendary "Sunwing" from Horizon Forbidden West, this yoyo is a testament to innovation in bimetal design – blending flow, acceleration, and the signature yoyofriends’ feel.
