Description
Obsidian is unique due to its smooth, uniform texture and its beautiful, glassy luster. It is formed by the rapid cooling of volcanic lava. It is typically jet black and is slightly harder than glass. Snowflake obsidian gets its name from the white ‘snowflake’ crystal patterns of cristobalite formed by partial crystallization of the glass.
*Please note these are sold individually. Since they are a natural product and unique they may vary in size, color, and shape.
